STALLION SEMEN SERVICE CONTRACT

This agreement for supplying semen for the 2000 breeding season

is between FOX BRUSH MORGANS, Robert & Joyce Quigley, owners of the Morgan Stallion  FUNQUEST ERICK    AMHA#  109290 and, owner of the mare            Mare AMHA# 

STALLION SERVICE FEE:

Breeding fee: $1000      (Includes $250.00 non-refundable booking fee, due when  contract is signed)  (Discount for return and or multiple breedings). Fee for Non-Morgan mares $500

Collection Fee:  $l00.00 each shipment ( this includes normal UPS or FED-X  fees  Air Service is $50 extra per shipment

Container Deposit:  $300.00 – Returned when mare owner notifies us that no more shipments are required and the container has been returned.

SHIPMENTS REQUIRED:  FOX BRUSH MORGANS agree to supply viable semen for up to three cycles, should they be required, during the 2000 breeding season.  Should more than one shipment be required, the charge for each additional shipment after the first will also be $l00.00 and must be prepaid before semen can be shipped.  

SEMEN TRANSPORT:  Semen will be shipped "cooled"  via best way.             Semen transport containers must be returned PREPAID within 10 days or a late charge of $l0 per day will be assessed.  No container deposit is necessary if breeder uses their own container.  

LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE:  FOX BRUSH guarantees a live foal -- defined as a foal that stands and nurses.  Should the mare not settle, abort, or give live birth, FOX BRUSH will supply up to two (2) shipments of semen for the mare during the 2001 breeding season, with Vet certificate of breeding soundness, at $l00 each.  In the event that one of the above circumstances happens, the mare owner will, within l5 days, notify FOX BRUSH with a statement from a licensed veterinary describing the circumstances.  Any mare not conceiving after two breeding seasons, will render this contract null and void and the breeding contract must be renegotiated by both the mare and stallion owner.  

CANCELLATION OF CONTRACT:  If the stallion becomes unfit for service before the mare is bred, all prepaid breeding fees will be refunded or applied to another FOX BRUSH stallion of mare owner's choice.  If the mare should become unfit, as determined by veterinary exam, before breeding all prepaid breeding fees with the exception of the booking fee of $250.00 will be refunded, or, the mare owner's option, another mare may be substituted.  Should the mare be sold or leased, the contract will be considered null and void and no refund of breeding fees will apply.
